Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, our founder is a proud mother and grandmother who believes deeply in the power of connection and community. Inspired by the legacy of her late father, David Fluellen, whose service left a lasting impact, she began her own journey of giving back—volunteering at local food banks, supporting the annual Breast Cancer Walk, and co-founding a nonprofit that reached communities across the country. Through these experiences, she saw firsthand the strength that comes from people coming together. BrightTogether was born from this same passion—a commitment to bridging the gap between seniors and youth, fostering mutual support, and creating spaces where all generations can thrive.
